Our Story
“My son walked in these shoes until he couldn’t anymore. Now I walk alongside those still in the journey.” -Mickey Leon
In loving memory of Terrance Leon
Terrance Leon lived a life marked by struggle, perseverance, and compassion. Though he battled with addiction, he never gave up. He walked the streets and sought recovery many time, always striving for something better. Even in his own pain, Terrance ministered to others, loving and encouraging them because he understood their suffering firsthand. God allowed us to experience life with Terrance so that through him, we could learn compassion, understanding, and how to help others who walk a similar path. His life reminds us that purpose can exist even in hardship, and that love can be shared even in broken places. Terrance will be remembered for his heart, his resilience, and his desire to help others feel seen and understood.
Our mission is God’s plan. We also dedicate this work to Terrance, who struggled with addiction and was often unable to stay home. Though we tried and loved him deeply, the battle was greater than us. Only God could reach him in the depths of that struggle. God took him home to heal him and give him rest. In his memory, we vow to go out and show others that God believes they are worth finding, worth loving, and never forgotten.
